Celebrate the Denton Tree Lighting and Wassail Fest with us at Angeline’s! We’ll provide decorations and stockings for the adults and the kiddos! This event is free with a drink purchase, so come make memories just in time for Christmas!

It’s the event you look forward to every year! Our Annual Mac and Cheese Festival in Denton!
What To Expect: This event is for the kids! All the money/proceeds go to buying school lunches for kids in Denton.
Oak Street Drafthouse, Eastside, Miss Angeline’s and Dan’s Silverleaf will be hosting this event. Multiple tents with teams/local businesses and the best Macaroni and Cheese they have to offer.
Stop by all four bars and cast your votes for your favorite kind. Winners will be announced at 5pm at Eastside and crowned The Mac King/Queen of Denton

Pride Night Out (Participating "Float")
Night OUT on the Square will be at the Civic Center this year! With the uncertain timeline of the construction on the Courthouse Lawn, we had to find a new home for our event.
Wear your pride gear, bring your signs, and visit the businesses and organizations that support PRIDENTON.
Local businesses and organizations show their support and PRIDE for the LGBTQIA2S+ community by participating in a “reverse Pride parade” where businesses are the “floats” and participants visit their booths.
Similar to a vendor fair, attendees will bounce between floats, pick up giveaways and swag along the way, and vote for the best storefront “float” AND the best table/booth “float”! We will announce the winners on Saturday, June 29th at the "Big Pride in Lil’ d" Dance Party at Rubber Gloves.

What else to expect
All ages welcome.
Amplified sound for speakers and music.
ASL interpretation will be provided for the speaking portions.
Free parking available in the lot adjacent to the Civic Center.
The Civic Center has gendered, multi-stall restrooms which will be converted to all-use for the duration of the event.
A wheelchair accessible ramp is located on the Southwest side of the Civic Center.
Seating. There are picnic tables outside the covered pavilion.
Large crowd is expected. There’s potential for sensory saturation.
Heat. While this event is partially air conditioned indoors, there is still risk of heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
Risk of a potential protest. Please don’t engage with agitators. Notify a volunteer if support is needed.
There will be a designated red medical table that will have water, snacks, and other medical supplies.
Please note that photographs and footage will be taken throughout the event. These will be used by PRIDENTON for marketing and publicity in our publications, website, and social media. Please contact us if you have any concerns.
COVID/Virus Precautions:
This event is partially indoors. Please consider wearing a mask, getting vaccinated, or boosted. Listen to your body and stay home if you're not feeling well. Get tested before and after events if you can. Let's take care of our community.

Representatives from a community security team will be present at the event to help protect attendees.
There will be a security/law enforcement presence as the event is being held in a space owned by the City of Denton.
Double Feature: Weezer and Boys II Men Listening Party
We’ve got another listening party for y’all! This time, we’re doing two classics that turned THIRTY this year. Weezer’s blue album and Boyz II Men’s II.
There will tickets for a raffle after each album plays for you to win! One entry per person, but you can enter for both vinyls!
We will be hosting Ginger from Eclectic Green Witch outside selling her handmade jewelry and gifts as well!

Solar Eclipse (Totality)
Denton is just right outside the totality line for the Solar Eclipse, but don't let that stop you from joining in on the fun! Whether you're looking for a place to stay, a quick bite to eat, or a good time, Denton has you covered.
Glasses will be provided with the purchase of a drink.
Get Eclipsed Crawl
The local watering holes and restaurants are crafting their versions of “Signature Solar Sips and Snacks.” You will have the opportunity to vote on your favorites. Stay tuned for participating locations. Escape the ordinary and soak up the daytime fun with the Get Eclipsed Crawl.
